A few follow up items to the season --
- Photos and certificates that were not picked up at the season end celebration are available in a box in the Snack Shop.
- The Ribbon Box is also available in the Snack Shop.
- The Angles posted our Sharks videos on You Tube!! You can access the link(s) from the Swim Team section of the RVA website.
- Our meet with Garden Hills was a “Meet of the Week” which means a professional photographer was there taking photos. You can also access those through the link on the website.
- New Sharks records have also been posted on the website.
Pending RVA Board approval, I am planning to return as Swim Team Manager for the 2010 season--unless someone else wants it:) Many thanks to the organizational volunteers that helped me this year. Several of you have already committed to helping again next year and I look forward to working with you again. If anyone else would like to get involved at an organizational level, please let me know.
We still have a big need for another Statistics Manager to help Bill Horlock. As I mentioned at the celebration, this position is necessary for us to remain in the Atlanta Swimming Association League. For additional information, contact myself or Bill Horlock at bhorlock@gmail.com
Some of the areas that I intend to work on for the 2010 season include
- Continue to improve our communication through the website.
- Providing an evening practice opportunity for our 6 and unders.
- Work with the RVA Board and Pinehills neighborhood to keep our parking safe for home meets.
- Continue to develop our coaching staff so they can continue to improve upon the skills of our swimmers.
