This year, RVA will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary! We plan to kick things off in style with a big Opening Day celebration on Saturday, April 24. Please mark your calendars that from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. that day, we will stroll down memory lane and commemorate 50 years of RVA fun! There will be food, music, games for kids (and adults) and a showcase of RVA nostalgia.
Since a lot of people have enjoyed RVA over the past 50 years, it is our desire to bring back as many "alumni" as we can to help celebrate this anniversary gathering. Therefore, please pass the word to any former RVA members that the wet carpet will be rolled out for them on that special day!
Speaking of music, we know that there are some "Garage Band" musicians swimming among us, so if any of you musicians have interest in being a part of the 50th anniversary celebration, please contact Steve Langston (slangston@mindspring.com, (404 816-8771) and let us know about your song list! We would love to feature our own musical talent at this fun event.
